| Previously, she has worked as a
private lawyer and as a law librarian in both the academic and private sectors. In
addition to her law degree, she has a Master Degree in Law Librarianship and a Master
Degree in Business Administration. Ms. Shimpock has
written and lectured extensively in the areas of the Internet, research, technology,
citation reform, and privacy and digital law.
She has participated in programs sponsored by the ABA,
ALI-ABA, the Computer Law Association, and the State Bar of Arizona. She received the
State Bar of Arizona's CLE award for 1998. Ms Shimpock is the author of the loose-leaf
service, Business Research Handbook: Methods and Sources for Lawyers and Business
Professionals (1996-) and co-author of Arizona Legal Research Guide (1992). She
serves as co-chair of the Environmental Group of the American Bar Association's Law
Practice Management Section, and as chair of the State Bar of Arizona's Task Force on
Technology's Low-Cost Access Subgroup. She is included within the 1998 edition of Who's
Who in American Law and Who's Who of American Women. |
